lyrics

These bold and bleak leviathans beneath the surface,
a consequence of deep, dark secrets left untold.
All I need is to catch my breath before the sea takes hold,
but a ghostly sound from sable ground is singing in the cold.

Oh, black water gleaming in divided light.
Pull me under, hide me from your satellite.

And where were you when I was underwater?
The stars dip down to shoulder me with courage from the sky.
But, I won't bend, abandon land, give up without a fight.
Still I can't find the piece of mind to swim against the night.

Oh, black water gleaming in divided light.
Pull me under, hide me from your satellite.
Drink me down and wash away my simple sight
and give me one more chance to swim against the night.

Oh, black water gleaming in divided light.
Pull me under, hide me from your satellite.
Drink me down and wash away my simple sight
and give me one more chance to swim against the night.
